MEMORANDUM OF UNDERSTANDING

This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) formalizes the collaboration between Katharsis Media, Inc. ("Katharsis Media") and ______________________ (“The Production”) for the employment and management of interns through Katharsis Media’s Crew Incentive Program for the project titled “Jon Jones April 2025.”
 
1. Intern Compensation and Credit
Compensation:
Interns will be paid $23 per hour for up to 40 hours per week.
Overtime will be compensated at time-and-a-half for hours exceeding 40 per week.
Credit:
All interns will receive on-screen and IMDb credit for their roles (if applicable)
Katharsis Media will provide The Production with a list of all interns and staff that served on set, along with stage names (if applicable), and any associated IMDb account information
The Production will be responsible for entering credits on IMDb and ensuring on-screen credits are correct (if applicable). 
The Production will tag or invite as collaborator Katharsis Media         (IG: @katharsis_media) on Social Media posts related to the content created (if applicable). 
 
2. Financial Responsibilities
Katharsis Media:
Covers 50% of interns’ wages, including regular and overtime pay.
Pays interns directly and invoices The Production bi-weekly for its share.
The Production:
Reimburses Katharsis Media for 50% of interns’ wages as billed.
Pays an administrative fee of $191 per day for each day interns or Katharsis Media staff are called to production (according to the attached invoice). 
 
3. On-Set Logistics
Call Sheets:
The Production will include all interns and the Intern Liaison on daily production call sheets.
Work Environment:
The Production will provide a safe, professional, and supportive environment for interns and staff.
Mentorship:
The Production will provide a mentor (or department head) for each intern, ensuring a 1 to 1 intern to mentor ratio. 
 
5. Terms of Engagement
Duration: This agreement remains in effect from the effective date until the completion of the production.
Termination: Either party may terminate the agreement with written notice, provided all financial obligations are settled.
Amendments: Changes to this agreement must be mutually agreed upon in writing.
