This Space Rental Agreement ("Agreement") is entered into on December 16, 2024 by and between Katharsis Media ("Owner") and Jeffrey Dockweiller (“Renter”).
RENTED SPACE: The Owner agrees to rent the following spaces to the Renter: 
Studio A  
The Porch 
 
RENTAL DATES AND TIMES:
Saturday, February 8th 9:30am-2:30pm
Sunday, February 9th 9:30am-2:30pm
These times reflect a 30 minute setup and tear down for each session
 
RENTAL FEE: 
Rental Fee: $35 per hour for 10 hours $350
This rental fee includes a non-refundable deposit of $50, which will be applied toward the total rental fee.
A 50% down payment is required to secure the reservation and will be applied toward the total rental fee. The remaining balance is due 48 hours before the event.
 
USE OF SPACE The Renter agrees to use the space solely for the following purposes: acting classes, private coaching sessions.
 
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Setup and Teardown: 
The Renter is responsible for setting up and tearing down any equipment, furniture, or materials within the rental period (including the additional 30 minutes provided).
Condition of Space: The Renter agrees to:
Leave the space in the same condition as it was provided.
Remove all trash, debris, and personal belongings by the end of the rental period.
Return furniture and equipment to their original placement.
Damages: The Renter is responsible for any damages caused during the rental period and agrees to pay any cost associated with repairs for damages.
 
RULES AND REGULATIONS: 
Smoking, alcohol, or illegal substances are not permitted on the premises.
Noise levels must be kept at a reasonable level to avoid disturbing other occupants or neighbors.
The Renter may not sublet the space to any other party.
 
CANCELLATION POLICY:
Cancellations made at least 14 days before the rental date will receive a refund of the rental fee (excluding the non-refundable deposit of $50).
Cancellations made between 8 and 13 days before the rental date will receive a refund of 50% of the rental fee.
Cancellations made less than 7 days before the rental date will forfeit the total rental fee.
Non-refundable fees may be applied for future credit towards use of the space, except for the $50 deposit. 
 
INDEMNIFICATION AND LIABILITY The Renter agrees to indemnify and hold harmless Katharsis Media, its employees, and agents from any claims, damages, or liabilities arising from the Renter's use of the space.
 
ENTIRE AGREEMENT This Agreement constitutes the entire understanding between the parties and supersedes all prior agreements. Any modifications must be made in writing and signed by both parties.
