The Memberships
Dropping in is cool, (see rates above), but belonging is even better - and cheaper. Being a member gives you access to all of our common areas (denoted with an * above) during all of our open hours (Monday-Thursday 9am-8pm, Friday 9am-4pm). They also give you a variety of hours each month to use to rent the spaces you need to grow as an artist or to build your business.
The Individual Membership: $45/ month
This membership is perfect for the working actor or filmmaker who needs a space to film auditions, reels, write, edit, or have a great place to work with awesome wifi and film-minded friends. Individual memberships include:
access to our co-working spaces (lobby, editing bay, the living room, patio) during all open hours
10 hours per month of use of our podcast, self-tape or voiceover studios
discounted rate of $10/hour for additional hours or smaller studios
discounted rate of $25/hour for Studios A & B
basic classes included at no additional cost
member rates on all classes or workshops
Free admission to our monthly Filmmaker's Brunch
requires a 6-month commitment
NOTE: Individual memberships cannot be used for commercial or business purposes and do not include guest passes. This includes the renting of space for events that charge any sort of fees or generate any sort of revenue.
Film-preneur Membership: $100/month
This membership is perfect for filmmaker who needs a space to hold casting calls, meet with clients, and an official business address and somewhere to collect your mail.
Film-preneur Memberships include:

8 hours per month of use of Studio A, B, or private offices
discounted rate of $10/hour for additional hours or smaller studios

The Business Membership: $300/ month
Memberships for production companies, coaches, and Film-preneurs: These membership are perfect for those building a business. Teach a class, film a series, have a screening or event. Membership includes:
use of ANY of our spaces for up to 30 hours per month
business listing on our website
ability to use us as your business mailing address
access to all common areas during open hours
discounted rate of $10/hour for additional hours in Studios C, D, and G
discounted rate of $25/hour for additional hours in Studios A & B
basic classes included at no additional cost*
member rates on all classes or workshops*

The Collective Membership: $545 / month
This is for the established production company or film adjacent organization that is ready for an official brick and mortar and wants to build their business within a collective of film-minded organizations and individuals.
Collective Membership includes:
your own private office with a key and 24 hour access
use of ANY of our spaces for up to 15 hours per month
all utilities and wifi
dedicated mailbox
business listing on our website
ability to use us as your business mailing address
access to all common areas during open hours
discounted rate of $10/hour for additional hours in Studios C, D, and G
discounted rate of $25/hour for additional hours in Studios A & B
basic classes or workshops for 2 team members
member rates on all classes or workshops for up to 2 team members

6 month lease with 1 month deposit paid up front
Reception Ready Add-On
Add professional polish to your membership. This tier provides front desk reception during our open hours to greet your guests, field walk-in inquiries, and answer your business calls using a device you provide. Includes display of your business card and optional signage in our shared space. Available only to Business or Collective members.
Add-On: $125/month (30 day notice to cancel)
Katharsis Media Memberships
Our memberships are billed monthly and include a 6-month minimum commitment. After that, memberships automatically renew in 6-month cycles unless canceled before the renewal date. You’ll receive a reminder prior to renewal.
Why 6 months? Because creative growth takes time. This structure helps us offer small class sizes, real mentorship, and affordable pricing for everyone in our community.
If you cancel before completing your 6-month term, you’ll be responsible for whichever is less:

Members retain access to all benefits through their final paid month. No refunds are issued for partial months.

Membership benefits are nontransferable and are for the named member only. Organizations may name up to two members. Memberships are not eligible for additional discounts or promotions.
