SOCIAL MEDIA CONTENT CREATION SERVICES
 
This Memorandum of Understanding (MOU) is entered into on this ___ day of __________, 2025, by and between:
Katharsis Media, a New Mexico-based media production organization, located at 7911 Mountain Road NE, Suite F, Albuquerque, NM 87110 (“Service Provider”)
and
Paws and Stripes, a registered nonprofit organization based in Albuquerque, NM (“Client”).
 
1. Purpose
The purpose of this MOU is to outline the terms and responsibilities for social media content creation services provided by Katharsis Media to support Paws and Stripes in enhancing its public visibility, donor engagement, and community outreach through regular and professionally produced social media content.
 
2. Scope of Work
Katharsis Media agrees to provide the following services:
Content Creation
Develop 5 social media posts per week, including a mix of static graphic posts and short-form video content (reels).
Create post copy, relevant hashtags, and scheduling recommendations for each post.
Upload all content and metadata to a shared Google Drive and/or Google Form system, generating a content calendar/spreadsheet for Client access.
Footage Gathering
Conduct up to 2 hours of on-site content capture per week, either at Paws and Stripes’ location or at events, as applicable for social media content creation. 
Creative Development
Collaborate with Client to develop content ideas and brand-aligned messaging.
Draft content scripts and outlines as needed, incorporating Client goals and feedback prior to delivery.
Monthly Alignment Meetings
Participate in one monthly planning meeting to set goals, align messaging, and review strategy and expectations.
Posting and Boosting
Client is responsible for posting the content and handling any post boosting or advertising.
Performance Reporting
Provide a weekly content report summarizing:
Follower growth
Top-performing post of the week
Engagement trends
Content delivery status
Optional notes or recommendations
Reports will be delivered via email or shared folder by Monday of each week for the previous week's performance.
 
3. Compensation
The total cost for the services described above is $800.00 per month.
A 30% nonprofit discount will be applied, reducing the monthly cost to $560.00 per month, upon receipt of Paws and Stripes’ valid Non-Taxable Transaction Certificate (NTTC) or official nonprofit tax-exempt documentation.
Payment is due in advance, by the 1st of each month, for services to be rendered that month.
Client may pay online via the link provided on the invoice or may set up autopay for convenience.
Services will not begin or continue until payment is received.
 
4. Term and Termination
This MOU shall be effective from ___________, 2025, and shall continue on a month-to-month basis unless otherwise agreed upon in writing.
Either party may terminate this agreement with 30 days' written notice.
If terminated mid-month, services will continue through the end of the paid period.
 
5. Ownership and Usage Rights
Katharsis Media will provide all final edited content (graphics, reels, captions, etc.) to Paws and Stripes for their unlimited use across platforms. 
Katharsis Media retains the right to use any delivered or unused content—including raw footage, photos, and behind-the-scenes material—for its own purposes, including but not limited to promotional reels, marketing, educational materials, grant reporting, and portfolio development.
 
6. Confidentiality and Branding
Katharsis Media agrees to maintain confidentiality with regard to sensitive or proprietary information obtained while working with Paws and Stripes.
All content will reflect the branding, tone, and values of Paws and Stripes, as defined through collaborative planning and review.
 
7. Limitations
This agreement does not include social media account access, posting, community management (comment replies, direct messages), or any paid advertising/boosting management.
Additional services (e.g., event livestreams, extended photography, long-form video edits) may be contracted separately.
