For the last 4 months, I have competed alongside 15 other contestants for a full-ride scholarship to AMDA College in New York City, and it is finally coming to an end. With that being said, I would like to recap my journey and how far I have come since the beginning of this competition.
I found out about this competition through my mother, and at first, I didn't think I stood a chance, especially with so many people wanting to be on TV and showcase their talents. Even though I had my doubts, I still sent in my audition and waited for a callback. During that time, I was in the middle of finals week for my first semester of college. There was so much going on that I didn't realize until almost 2 weeks later that I had gotten a callback and they asked me to fly down to New Mexico to audition! So much went through my head, but I knew that I would have regretted not auditioning, so my mom and I booked my flight and my audition went well!
When I came back home, I had 2 weeks to decide whether or not I wanted to spend the next 4 months of my life away from my friends and family and compete. I had just turned 18 and I didn't really know what to do, but something told me to take the risk and go for it. Though this process has been long and rough, I am forever grateful for the experience, memories, and friendships I have made throughout this journey.

And so many more memories that I couldn't display because it would take up too much time. I want to thank Candice, Deidre, Renato, Tre, Monique, Xavi, Bethany, Ron, Diamond Elite Luxury Homes, National Hispanic Cultural Center, Katharsis Media, Studio 519, DMe Talent Agency, Sidewinders, The Black Cat, my incredible castmates, and most importantly AMDA for this amazing experience. It wouldn't be possible without you all, and though it is coming to an end, it is something I will NEVER forget!
